Nice graphics and atmosphere! The grappling could feel snappier. Perhaps show the rope go to the wall and have a sound for when it hits?
Got to a max height of 255
*Edit: actually I beat it. It was really good.

The game is slow and unresponsive. I am getting around 15-20 fps and I have a pretty good computer. It's controlling so bad I couldn't do level 1. I think it's because it's on web. Games of this sort should be downloaded onto computer. It must be to heavy to be played on browser. Looks like a very nice and complete game though. If it ran well I am sure I would like it.
*Actually it ran terribly on only level one. I tried a few others and they are better (still not perfect). Although, they are insanely difficult.
Very nice. I like the art-style. The sprites are really well made. The music fits well and the sounds are nice. Good take on the theme too. I find the platforming hard though. Double jumping onto some platforms takes me way more tries than it should. Also it's hard to tell whether a hole would lead to my death or to another room.
I like the game. It's nice and simple. The music and graphics are beautiful. The game froze on me though. The game could be expanded more.
Fun game! I like the overall feel and level design.
Here's a list of possible improvements:
- The graphics could use some work. I think it would look better if some of the objects were better aligned or positioned. I also don't like the materials on the objects.
- The music is nice, but it would be cool if there was a volume slider or a mute button somewhere.
- I would also like to see a level select menu. I made it to level 2, exited, and couldn't go back.
-The ball in level 2 should roll.
-The text in the "Rules" doesn't fit in the screen when it's not fullscreen.
- I would also add a more engaging background in the main menu rather just than a static color.
- The game should automatically reset when the player falls
excellent game. Can't get the mouse to lock to the game though
I like the idea, but it's very simple and there isn't much to it. Here's a list of things you could add:
- mud puddles that slow the players down
- walls that switch on/off on a timer
- walls that apply to only one player, ex: red player can pass through red walls but blue player can't
- power ups: speed boost, ghost ability that lets you go through walls, switching early
- a single player mode against bots: most players are alone. I made a two player game once and it didn't receive a lot of attention.
Oh! Definitely add some sound!
I think this game has potential :)
